August 20, 2025 – DAY 1: NAIROBI
Arrive in Nairobi, Kenya, where your Small Group Discovery tour begins in a city that pulses with energy and promise. Upon arrival, you'll be warmly greeted as you step into the gateway to your dream safari. With hotel rooms available for a mid-afternoon check-in, take your time settling in, then relax and absorb the excitement of the journey ahead during an intimate evening briefing.

August 21, 2025 – DAY 2: NAIROBI–SHABA NATIONAL RESERVE
Depart the vibrant city of Nairobi and journey north to the wild expanses of Shaba National Reserve. This day unfolds with an exhilarating afternoon game drive, where you'll encounter the “Special 5” – Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, beisa oryx, and gerenuk – amidst nature’s symphony of over 400 bird species. Listen to the calls of the vulturine guinea fowl and gray crowned crane as you traverse the rugged terrain, making unforgettable memories with every turn.

Embrace the arid awakening of Shaba as you embark on both morning and afternoon game drives. Amidst free time at your lodge, enjoy sundowner drinks in the bush and share moments of awe as the sun dips below the horizon, marking the perfect close to an adventurous day.

August 23, 2025 – DAY 4: SHABA–OL PEJETA CONSERVANCY
Today, trade the vast plains of Shaba for the rich conservation legacy of Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Depart early and, en route, visit Nanyuki Spinners and Weavers to discover inspiring local projects that empower women through sustainable craft. After lunch, deepen your connection with wildlife at the Sweetwaters Chimp Sanctuary—a touching encounter with rescued chimpanzees—and later, set out on an afternoon game drive. The day culminates in a stay at Sweetwaters Serena Camp, where the view of Mount Kenya and the nearby floodlit waterhole create a magical ambiance.
